What is VecTrax

VecTrax is an innovative management software dedicated to monitoring and reporting on disease vectors (Culex Pipiens, Aedes spp., Culiseta spp., …), which includes tools to speed up and control the surveillance workflow.

VecTrax has been developed in close collaboration with Entostudio S.R.L., an entomological consulting company specialized in field tests and vector control protocol development, thus making the software as fast and transparent as possible, in line with the goal of enhancing the workflow and limiting errors.

VecTrax’s workflow has been thoroughly field-tested, this way:

• common errors are limited;
• time losses coming from such errors are reduced;
• the quality and speed of reports is increased.

This leads to a shortening of the feedback cycle between public entities and experts in the disease vector surveillance trade, shortening response times in case of health emergencies.

VecTrax features a report generation assistant that allows to create reports just minutes after each check is concluded, loading the data directly inside the system and allowing the staff to access it immediately, without waiting for the surveillance staff to come back from field work.

Furthermore, VecTrax supports assisted creation of periodic reports, automatically aggregating data and generating ready-to-use files.
