Update to version 1.10.9

VecTrax version 1.10.9 is released, bringing performance improvements and new features.

After months of development and testing, VecTrax version 1.10.9 has been released, bringing lots of new things, among them we can find performance improvements, better code architecture and some new features.

Suggested Minimals

Now you can set a suggested minimum number of manholes that should be checked for each customer and check type.

This allows for better customer satisfaction, improving check standardisation. Furthermore, this feature will help new inspectors by suggesting a standard to follow.

This feature is available on the Surveillance Task editing screen.

New Archives

While the VecTrax platform has been used, a new necessity arose: new archive screens are needed to help telling ongoing activities from completed ones. The new release of VecTrax introduces archiving features for:

  • Supervision Tasks;
  • City Tasks;
  • Hatching Laboratory Samples;
  • Unknown Species Laboratory Samples;
  • Generic Laboratory Samples.

Furthermore, when an object is archived, all the dependant objects will be automatically archived as well. Thus it is possible to “wrap up a supervision task” simply by archiving it: all city tasks, checks and laboratory samples that depend on such supervision task will be archived automatically.

New “Intervention Tracking” screen

The new release of VecTrax introduces a new and improved “Intervention Tracking” screen with the objective of improving the business management activities.

This new “Intervention Tracking” screen shows the number of cities that have been monitored in the selected time frame, categorised by supervision task, as well as the number of interventions that have been completed, versus the number of foreseen ones.

When you check the details of a certain supervision task, you can analyse which cities have been visited, which ones are left to visit, the dates where interventions have been made for that specific supervision task, as well as the number of cities visited during each intervention.

New filters for cities

New filters for cities have been introduced to speed up looking for treatments and checks by city name. These filters make use of the saved data to narrow down the city list, thus speeding up searches.

This way you will save time, avoiding sifting through cities with the same name that exist in different areas.

BugFixes

As always, improvements on the VecTrax platform never stop, this version brings some bug fixes that have been detected during tests and on-field usage:

  • When a file upload via Drag&Drop fails, now the user will be warned with a clearer message;
  • If, by any chance, there are mistakes while writing laboratory samples or sample pictures, the inspector will receive clearer messages;
  • Minor graphical fixes.
