VecTrax reaches version 1.8.5, bringing some new features and enhancing stability.

After weeks of work, a new version of VecTrax is released: version 1.8.5. This new version brings general stability enhancements, as well as security and design enhancements.

Better security checks

The software now does stricter permission checks and recognizes asynchronous requests better, improving security further.

New “thematic maps” generation system

Now it is possible to generate thematic maps using the data inside the management software directly. At the moment the system allows to create choropleth maps about:

• Manholes/Ditches/Spots positivity as well as overall;
• Presence of manholes with water;
• Cities that presented a treatment plan;
• Cities that have been monitored;
• Business tasked with treatments (both named and anonimized versions are available);
• Products used in treatments.

You can insert a title for the chart directly from the creation screen, as well as enabling features like automatic cropping and inserting the name of cities in the maps.

This system has been built to allow for extensions, so in the future it will be possible to create new types of thematic maps.

Thematic maps in periodic reports

The new thematic maps generation system has been built into the periodic report generator, this allows to automatically add such maps.

You can add an unlimited number of maps, and the editing, deleting and ordering are simplified.

Bug fixes and graphical cleanup

Some visual bugs involving some screens of the PWA have been solved, allowing you to perform more “office work” in mobility, more easily.

Moreover, some buttons have been grouped in submenus to make the interface cleaner and more intuitive.
